Target readers
This guide is for foreign residents who received a new residence card after an extension or change of status.
Conclusion
Ask your employer or school, banks and remittance providers, mobile and internet providers, landlord and guarantee company whether registered residence information must be updated. Not every contract requires a submission, and each provider sets its own method and deadline. If your name, nationality or region, address or organization also changed, separate statutory notifications may be required.

1. Employer or school
Provide the information needed to confirm the new period of stay, work restrictions and permission for activities outside the status. A job change, resignation, enrollment or withdrawal may trigger a separate 14-day affiliation notification for relevant statuses. A residence-card renewal does not automatically complete that notification.
2. Banks and remittance services
Financial institutions may request an updated expiry date, address or employer information for ongoing identity verification. Use the official app, member page, branch or official form and respond by the provider’s deadline. Consequences of non-response depend on the provider’s rules.
3. SIM and internet
Check whether the provider needs an updated expiry date, address or account name. Renewing a residence card does not require switching providers. When comparing a new plan, review identity requirements for foreign residents, remaining period of stay, total fees, payment, device compatibility and cancellation costs.
Check a mobile service
Before applying to HIS Mobile, confirm current identification requirements, fees, payment methods and compatible devices. Contract approval is not guaranteed.
4. Lease and guarantee company
Read the contract to see whether an expiry date, name, employer or emergency contact must be updated. A new residence card does not necessarily require a new lease. Never send an image to an unverified address.
5. Other daily-life services
Review credit cards, insurance, utilities, subscriptions and mobility services. Some providers require no action if the address and other details did not change.
6. Safe submission methods
Use an official app, a bookmarked member page, a telephone number printed on an official card or a branch. Avoid links in unsolicited advertisements or messages. Submit only the information required.
